Court Interpreting Services
Court Interpreting can require both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting. During a court hearing, the interpreter needs to simultaneously interpret what is stated in the Court to a witness or an accused person whose language is different to the official language of the Court.
Nonetheless, when the witness or accused person needs to testify, the interpreter needs to do a consecutive interpretation as sentences have to be short in order to make sense in the target language.
During court hearings, interpreters often take speedy notes for names, dates, facts, penalties, and many more, and they are able to swap between languages to deliver messages accurately.
